I loved them a lot! especially mockingjay!
I thought maybe I found the movie a bit boring/slow because I already knew what was going to happen hmmm

I can see how that happened, because alot of what made the books fun, was the wanting to get to the next chapter to find out how things started to span out, once you know, it's kinda lost forever in that way.

I've only read the first one and I haven't seen the movie but I think it would be hard to be as good without all the internal thoughts you get from the book.

Ok, in case anyone really wants to know that Wink ..I watch a couple of series and also many (action/crime) movies, but actually not often on TV - most time on the internet or on DVD..

That's what I watch regularly: Dr.House, Simpsons, Fringe, Family Guy, American Dad and some german series

what I have watched: Monk, Lie To Me, (at least a little bit of) Chuck

what I thought about to start: Boardwalk Empire, Dexter

i wouldn't say i'm obsessed, but i am watching it every week.

i find that with such an idealistic show its important to have great characters to make all the idealism believable, and to make it so that the show is still based around people and not politics. the West Wing did a fantastic job with this. Josh is my avatar and Toby is one of my favorite characters in any piece of literature or film ever. Bartlet was an amazing character as well. And Donna did the whole awkward-but-still-so-cute thing much better than either Mac or Maggie in the Newsroom. this is where the Newsroom falls a little bit short of expectations for me.

My expectations for the Newsroom were extremely high, given Sorkin's output in the past. it hasn't quite measured up for me, but it is still very enjoyable and i look forward to it every Sunday.

I've been watching Breaking Bad, Workaholics, and Family Guy. Next month is going to be great with new seasons of Dexter and Sons of Anarchy. It's Always Sunny too, though I'm not sure when that starts.
