So some of you might know this band, others probably not (they broke up in '98. I probably would have never heard of this band if it weren't for a girl I was dating, who kinda helped me upgrade my taste in music. Smile

Archers of loaf were "supposed to make" big, but didn't (things just kinda fell apart for them) and ended breaking up. At one point, they were offered a contract with Maverick Records, but rejected the offer, I think I read somewhere that it would have put them in debt to switch labels. They also opened up for Weezer, but that was a disaster too, their sound did not go over well over with Weezer fans.

The lead singer, Eric Bachmann's doing some solo stuff now, not really a fan of his new stuff though.

Here are my two favorite songs from this band. They are two completely different songs.
I used youtube links since I'm not sure I'm allowed to post the songs.

1) Harnessed in the slums:

I never heard a song like this before. Sounds kinda punk.

2) White Trash Heroes:

This song is amazing, very different from their earlier stuff. It's hard to get out of your head, I like listening to this driving home at night.
