Not sure what you guys are hearing but that is not a British accent. Maybe being from the north of England I am too over familiar with dodgy attempts at this song to really notice what could be perceived as Britishness.

I don't think he's doing a British accent. He sounds like he usually does but sings a few words with the accent because they wouldn't rhyme properly otherwise. Despite not liking Oasis very much though I really enjoyed that cover. Also any video of Red Lights gets my instant approval. I loved all the MATZ tracks. Wish they were available to download legally somewhere. 1,000 years was super good in that performance. I liked it on the record but it wasn't my favourite. That performance was really, really good.

Can't believe it's the first time hearing that cover, brilliant
