How was there not a thread for these guys yet? Best band from Philly that doesn't rhyme with Free Zen Singers.

Best way I can describe them is like... I donno... Japandroids meets say... The Hold Steady (or maybe Lucero. They are hard to describe...) Large booming sound that you just want to get lost in but with lyrics that hold their weight.

Already have one EP out and its great. Had a 7" last year that was really good. New EP comes out in April and the two songs they've released all amazing.

You can stream everything on their bandcamp: http://restorationsmusic.bandcamp.com

Also they are great live if you get the chance.

Stoked for the record release! Band rules. One of the better Philly bands that is still active.

Just listened to this band for the first time.
They are incredible.

The guitar playing reminds me a bit of Alex R.'s

anyone going to their show at the Lanes on Friday? I'm mostly going for Brian McGee, as I never heard Restorations before this week, but I'm gonna try to learn some of their stuff on the way down, as I do like their sound!
