Careers In Science & Buddy Black

So I went to see The Riot Before last year and met these guys. VERY nice and they stayed at my place and ended up becoming good friends. I love this song and think they are a good band.

Well mr Potkin, I'll post in your thread, Careers in science sound really good, in fact the best recommended band in this section since Peachfuzz. Really want one of their Wolf shirts, but I'd like a cd and shirt deal rather than a vinyl deal.

Buddy Black remind me of Dead Milkmen in the video, but a bit of Nick Cave/Murder by death musically. All in all thanks for the heads up. Two new bands I can follow.

Yeah I agree about the CD, they don't have any! Just digital and vinyl ... I was hoping for tapes!

You can't mean that about tapes, it's a worrying trend in younger bands who don't remember how bloody awful tapes actually were!!

I'm not trying to be a curmudgeon, I have no use for vinyl, not enough money or room to start another obsession(however Murder by Deaths recent kickstarter had vinyl that I actually considered buying a record player to justify..truly a beautiful thing) ,I am happy to pay a good artist I might message them and ask how much a shirt/download deal would be, I did this recently with Gnarwolves and they were happy t accomodate.

I'm sure the guys in both bands would be more than happy to find you a deal.

And sadly, I do love tapes, and collect them, more for nostalgic purposes than any other, as I do admit how bad they could become. For me its more about the process and the memories than anything else ;-)
