PostSubject: Brian's covers   Sat Aug 11, 2012 2:18 am

I wasn't sure if there was already a thread for this but I have two questions that I've been wondering for awhile. First, does anyone have actual video of Brian doing that acoustic cover of the bouncing souls say anything? I have the audio from someone on here that I got years ago. My second question is the audio rip of Brian doing an acoustic version of a tegan and sara song (i don't know the title, call it off?) and someone else is singing with him. WHO IS THAT!?

Thank you in advance Very Happy

The Bouncing Souls cover starts at 2:20. The whole concert is up on there, just click on the user's name: http://vimeo.com/3736051

If the Call it Off audio you have is one where Brian is doing the backing vocals, it is Dave Hause singing lead.

You have good taste lol both of those videos are bookmarked and ripped onto my iPhone.

It's the only version I have ever heard of Brian covering any Tegan and Sara song (I'm a HUGE fan of them). You should listen to Dave Hause's solo album "Resolutions" and all of his stuff with the band The Loved Ones. Also, I definitely recommend listening to any of his million covers of Trusty Chords from Hot Water Music.

Freaking love "Call It Off"!

I died when I heard the "Dear Chicago" and "Crash Into Me" snippets from the past couple of shows. He needs to cover those in full!

Brian has amazing taste.

Agreed. I I love you Dave and Trusty Chords is like one of the best songs ever. Dave covered it at the Cambridge TGA show and it was incredible.

I was PRAYING Dave was going to play it at the Webster Hall show. I like his version much better than the original. I hope him and Brain do some kind of acoustic tour.

Too bad Americans got the short end of that stick. The Revival Tour lineup is always so much better in Europe.
