Oh, understood. Thanks for the clarification. I guess I was confused because S1D called it a repress and I saw it on Banquets site but I guess they just carried the S1D version.

For 1,000 being out there I'm surprised it pops up so infrequently. Do you guys think 25 is a fair price for it?

It's called a repress because the '59 Sound had already been released as a 7" with Cowgirls as the B-side. I wouldn't pay $25 for this seeing as it's out of 1,000 copies. I paid only $15 for the earlier '59 Sound 7" on gold vinyl and that was limited to 500.

That being said, people overpay for Gaslight vinyl all the time.

agree that $25 is on the high side. it's not that rare and you should be able to find it for less eventually. that said, the difference is probably only going to be $5-10. so if you "need" it now, who's to say that's too expensive?

I thought 25 might be 5 or so dollars too high but the same seller also has the Park Ave and would sell that for 30 and I thought that was pretty fair. I figured 55.00 for both is a pretty fair deal especially if he'll do it with shipping. I'm still waiting to hear on condition and all that so this could all fall apart but I definitely don't want to over pay. What do u think of both for 55.00?

I have V1 of the 59 sound and bought that for 4.00. I don't know how V2 slipped by me and Park Ave is a long story but I've been meaning to add them for quite some time.

Really? I get why the 59 Sound may be a bit over priced but Park Ave for 30? They have ended pretty high on eBay lately and one is currently at over 40.

$55 shipped isn't awful considering what Park Ave has gone for at times. Something like ~$35 for Park Ave, ~$15 for the single, ~$5 for shipping. Like I said before, it may be a few bucks high but calling it crazy crazy expensive is just crazy.

When I think about it, having copied my initial data from elsewhere, I think it should be called a 'reissue' as it has a different B-Side from the original issue. A 'repress' would really be a second and subsequent pressing.

For some reason I thought the repress/reissue for The 59 Sound was a UK/EURO release, am I completely wrong?!

I just checked my copy, and there is nothing on it to say where it was made (printed/pressed); it just gives the usual (P) and (C) details for SideOneDummy and Little Eden Music.

Cheers, for some reason I had it my head that it was a UK only press!

Oh, I just meant for a 7" and a 10" in general. Wish I could spend that, I'm poor!

The 2nd version of it, was indeed a UK press.

Thanks. I checked today and V2 of The 59 Sound is over 40. Still trying to work out a deal for these. If anyone has an extra Park or 59 Sound I will buy or trade for it. I have some very cool Alkaline Trio 7" that some of you may be interested in.
