King Cannon's, incredible new punk band that sound just like a modern day Clash. Found out about them recently, and have fallen in love. I think Luke Yeoward could end up being one of the greatest frontmen in modern rock. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rget1LCS-r8&feature=relmfu

I have been listening to Hot Water Music a lot lately since they just released their new album a couple weeks ago. I am loving it. I also have been on a Dave Hause and DropKick Murphys spree lately too.

Just a question for some other Clash fans about here, whats your opinion of the song 'Hitsville UK'?
I've been listening to Sandinista! a lot lately and I would count it amongst my favourite Clash songs although I get the impression its not really that popular amongst other fans?

I like Aim and Ignite a lot more and I hate to say it but Some Nights was put out by FBR and produced by a hip-hop producer and there is definitely hip-hop influenced beats in some of the songs and I really don't like it. but the worst part is that some of Nate's voice is autotuned in some of the songs. his voice is so powerful and good, it doesn't need autotune. Despite all that, I do really like it. Nate is an old friend of mine so I am happy for all of his success from being in a little band that started in AZ (The Format) to being on top of the charts 10 years later.

In Some Nights I don't hear the hip hop influence, I hear like tribal beats, I think that's what they were going for at least. It's so weird that so many in the punk scene like Fun.

Nate has said in interviews that they were influenced by hip-hop artists.

Great video! I'm actually starting to listen to John Mayer's new album. My buddy I play music with is into him and I never really gave him a shot, but he's really talented and I'm liking what I'm hearing so far
