It's probably the least interesting and most generic sounding of the preview clips to me. silent

Haha I was being serious! It doesn't sound bad at all but after hearing the previews for Mae and Handwritten I feel like those should be the ones people are fawning over.

That's fair I suppose. Personally I'm very curious about both but I really don't know that I can even form a greater opinion than that from what I heard. I did only listen to each twice though.

They're making it pretty easy for you now:
http://www.stumbleupon.com/stumbler/GaslightAnthem

Or at least when I clicked on it anyway.

So today's previews are a song I've already heard the preview for and one I don't wanna listen to until it comes out. Cool.

Yes, by definition a "preview" is not "full".
so if i saw a movie/play preview they wouldn't show the full movie/play?

Ya, I don't know why they're calling it a preview. Snippets/Samples makes more sense.

elephant Guilty. Hahah. I will say I didn't sign up for StumbleUpon just reposted tweets on the hashtag.

I'm really not interested in hearing :25 second previews of a song. Like Brian said a while back regarding song leaks, an album is like a book, and the story''s messed up if it's not in it's entirety. Plus StumbleUpon is in it for my data. I'll stop using the site when the campaign's over but they'll sell my email.

I'm really only playing the game to support the band/win cool stuff.

Hahaha. I listened to them out of fear. I needed to reassure myself that I was going to enjoy the album and not be like "what the hell?" And I needed to keep my expectations from getting too out of control. Had to get some perspective.

It is dumb but at least Stumbleupon doesn't bug me like most of the sites I'm on. I don't get emails and crap from them. And like you said, it supports the band and you can win cool stuff. And I get why they did it.

Also I totally agree with the not wanting to hear a part of the whole but at least these parts are so small you like can barely form an opinion off them if at all.

The preview for National Anthem just gives me the chills every time I hear it. Sounds like it will be a solid closer for the album.

Any one noticed the similarities between Mae and The Horrible Crowes version of Teenage Dream?

Since Handwritten is the last preview to be made available, do you guys think that maybe as a treat to us fans that they will release the whole song? I could be crazy for thinking that, but why release 3 previews yesterday and just 1 today when they could have just released 2 yesterday and 2 today? Can always hope. Very Happy
