Haha, there is more to it than that. I rarely do anything annoying. These 2 piss the hell out of me because if you don't want to go out one night they hound you and turn annoying as hell. Not to mention, one of them is one of the biggest complainers in the world and she always talks about how mature she thinks she is. I want to be like...you still complain about homework at 22, who gives a shit if you have a nursing position, quit bitching to me about your life problems.

Sounds like you need a break from them haha. I hate when people get on you about going out when sometimes you're just not into it. That's so frustrating.

Believe me, I have been known to take a couple cool down periods with the two of them. My other best friend is the same way, he gets pissed at the 2 of them too. The other 2 are getting married next july so they believe that they have the best outlook on life. I man, I love them to death, but they are 2 of the most self absorbed people ever. When one broke up with the other 2 years ago, my other best friend and I took care of both of them. Sometimes I Wish they could look back and see how much trouble that was for the 2 of us. They brought the whole thing on their own. But blah blah blah. haha

Is it really that hard to understand that a guy who dug holes in 100 degree heat for 10 hours today does not want to go to an outside concert at night?

I think it sounds like maybe you are growing up and they are still pretty immature. They should understand that you are exhausted after working all day and might want to just stay home every once in a while.

Yeah. It annoys me too that if we had planned to hang out one night and they can't cause they are too tired I am just like ok, whatever, we can do something another night. A majority of time now when we hang out, there is some reason I just start getting fumed and angry. There have been 3 instances in the last 4 months when we all were drunk and I almost got into a fight with the guy one. I dunno, I would die for them but still......I mean respect what other people want to do. Sheesh.

Exactly, you have to respect one another, and it seems like they have forgotten that. Maybe you just need a little time out from them and they'll miss you and treat you better after that. Have you tried to tell them how you feel?

Absolutely not. When I need to vent, i vent to either Paul or Donald. They do the same stuff to Donald too, and he has said stuff to them and it just escalates. We both have talked that theres no hope winning an argument with the two of them together because they are so much in <3 and they team up. Its better just to vent to eachother.

Another thing that pisses me off is the fact that they always complain about PDA when other people are doing it but they do the most PDA of any couple i have even known. Double standards people, double standards. You aren't gods specialist people on the earth. I mean cmon!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mad

Yeah I'm in a group of like 5 and everyone's maturing at different rates. For the most part can still get along but it comes through from time to time with stupid stuff. At least we've all got jobs of some kind now though so everyone tends to get it when you say "I'm too tired after work".

Call them out on it if you haven't. My friends and I did that with each other for like 2 years when we all went away to school and some people started gettin' weird. It got pretty messy for awhile but we're doing good now.

Oh my gosh, I hate when people are hanging all over each other and showing too much PDA. It makes things uncomfortable for everyone around them and it's not something other people want to see. Get a room people, get a room! And double standards are so irritating! Sometimes people are just jerks. Plain and simple.

That really stinks that you can't talk to them about this. I know people like that too, where it will just make it worse, because either they feel like I'm attacking them, or I'm overreacting, or I'm the one with the problem. They can't take responsibility for anything. I'm glad you have a couple other friends you can vent to, and you can always vent to us as well. We all need to do that sometimes!

Yeah, I doubt most people out in the world would understand, but a lot of us would. I owe so much to Brian and his songs...so much. If you don't mind my asking, what's your connection to the music? Why is it so important in your life? I love hearing how these songs impact other people. Smile

I think a lot of the time, Brian and the guys hang around after the shows and talk to the fans and take pictures and stuff, so if you stick around you might get to meet him. I don't even know what I'd say to him, I would be in so in awe. I mean, he's one of my heroes! And he's so humble, he has no idea what an amazingly talented person he is.

I shook Brian's hand for that exact reason. I totally get what you mean when you say he's done so much for you. But you're right, the outside world might not get it. That's why this forum is so great. But yeah, hang around (I waited 2 hours so be ready to wait) but he's unbelievably gracious.

Haha, Shannon if you ever meet him don't do what I did. Aka stumble over your words and sound like a complete idiot. It was like every thought tried to come out at once!

I've been bad about remembering to watch Breaking Bad.

Also I'm listening to the music TGA listed on spotify, and I have no idea what 95% of this is but it's a pretty awesome collection of music.
