Love it. I even love the Madonna version, especially the video for it.

If you met a shiny demon on a lonesome road, which song would you play?

Beach house, for sure. The sound of waves crashing on the beach is the best sound in the world.

My last dream was me sitting at a table, and talking to someone. I had never seen this table and didn't know who i was talking to. All of a sudden I felt two hands press down, one on each shoulder. When I turned to look, it was my mom, she was right there in my face and gave me the most gorgeous smile, it was an "I know something you don't know" smile. Then she gave me a hug and was gone. My mom had just passed a few weeks before this.
So that was my dream, now here's the trippy part.
My friend wanted to me to come see him, he lives about two hundred miles away. So I made plans to go see him, it was my birthday, and I kinda needed a break, so to speak, and to get out of town. He's a tattoo artist and the day before I got there he was giving this girl a tattoo, and he told her I was coming up and that he wanted to take me to the coast. She goes "hey, I have a beach house, here's the keys" and then gave him the keys. How awesome is that? So we get to this beach house and as soon as I walk in, I see THE table that was in my dream, exactly. I was silently crying when I opened the cupboard to get a cup for some water. The first cup I see is a coffee mug that says "hangin' loose in La Jolla, California, which is where I was born. Plus the beach was her most favorite place in the world. It sounds kinda silly, now that I've typed it out, but it was the most surreal awe inspiring experience. I could feel my mom there, it was like she was trying to give me permission to let my pain go and not feel guilty, you know? She knew how hard it was going to be having my birthday without her there, and she didn't want me to. She never wanted anything more than for us kids to be happy, so I'm trying my best.

Yes, and it totally freaks me out. When I was a kid I used to sleep in my closet or under my bed, because I was afraid they were going to take me while I was sleeping. Not sure what the logic was there Smile
