I may have already posted this, but has anyone else noticed how many songs are about going to a funeral?

So the ambulance came took your pulse and packed up your things... I think the person in the song died, and Maria has come to his funeral.

The high and lonesome sound I think may be a reference to the sound of boots carrying out a coffin to its grave.

in my head are all these classic cars and outlaw cowboy bands... I think this might be the things that remind him of the guy that died

...although the Bruce Springsteen reference doesn't quite fit

but then again, I thought 1930 was also about a funeral... I know this will come as a shock... but I can be wrong!

So the day has arrived, The '59 Sound is officially released!

I downloaded mine today as soon as I woke up, and wrote the first review of it on iTunes (under the name Dick Snail)...

I have also seen Geezfool's review on there... lets get some more reviews for this wonderful band!

I agree, the first time I heard The '59 Sound I was like zuh? This is different... now I have had it in my car's cd player for almost two months straight! It is by far my favorite cd of the year... nothing even comes close

I'm still hoping my t-shirt/CD order comes in the post soon. I listened to the leak and was very impressed. Didn't catch me instantley as Sink or Swim but gosh darn its great.

I love Great Expectations and Old White Lincoln right now.
