WTC site. Not a tourist site, but it is still something a person should see. Central Park, Grand Central Station, and the like.

I think we did this once before. Maybe it was buried in the Convention Hall thread? I remember someone was coming over and we all listed a bunch of places.

This was no help.

Of course you need to take a ride across the river and down to Asbury Park, see some random punk band at the Pony or the Wonder Bar. It's part of the human experience.

LOL so far it's "If you're visiting Manhattan, leave and visit somewhere else!"

Helpful sites so you can hunt down places that suit your tastes:
Menupages.com (lets you look at restaurant menus before going to the place)
http://www.timeout.com/newyork
http://nymag.com/
http://yelp.com (user reviews of restaurants/attractions)

In terms of restaurants, you oughta check out McDonald's, PizzaHut and Subway.

They're America's highest achievements in the culinary arts.

This place was sorta pricy. It's midtown near Central Park. But my god they had a Chicken Parmesan special the night I went that was amazing.
