Going to see him supporting Frank Turner in November. 'Wait at Milano' is one of the finest songs I've ever heard.

I've not listened to a lot of Avail, but I am a massive fan of Tim Barry. Wait at Milano is (in my eyes) one of the best songs ever written. I haven't seen Tim live as he doesn't seem to be in the UK much, however I got Frank Turner tickets for November and then found out he is supporting, not sure I've ever been so stoked for something in my life!

Edit to add

It's hard to see certain acts now because guys like Tim Barry have changed my standards of what to expect from a performer. Sincerity goes a long way. Perhaps much further than perfect hair/costumes/choreography.

This!
