I don't think I've heard much of the most recent album for some reason, but they continue to astound me every time I listen to them.

Was already wondering if there were other Sigur Ros fans around here..

They will probably be my favourite band for life. I saw them on the first festival I ever went to, and I haven't seen a band since that could amaze me that much. Unique band with a hauntingly beautiful sound.

The new album should be more ambient, "floating and minimal", according to Jonsi. So nothing like the previous one (which I liked, even though it was completely different. Another great aspect about this band: they never made a record that sounded like one of their others)

I know they're not Sigur Ros, but has anyone heard of Moonlit Sailor?

They're pretty similar in terms of the instrumental/post-rock approach, but I heard this one yesterday on the Sigur Ros Pandora channel. I just have to say, it's amazing.
