Who do you consider your hero?

Tim Mcilrath. Singer of Rise Against, my through hero. Man has done so much.

How many GB of music do you have? I have some 30 Gig.

Not much, only about 10 GB. My iPod Touch and my iPad are both 16 GB and I have about 1000 songs on them, but I spend a lot of time in the car so I listen to CDs most of the time. I do love my iPad though. I love you

Have you ever gone horseback riding?

Ooh, a political question! I am very liberal, so I could never see myself voting or rooting for a conservative candidate. I think Obama has gotten a lot of flack for things that's aren't his fault, like our tanking ecomony, so I think I would like him to win the election this year and hopefully improve the state of our country in the coming years. What people need to remember is that the president is just one person and doesn't have total control of the country, so he or she shouldn't be given all of the blame or credit for anything that happens.

Do you enjoy politics?

YES! I can argue and debate with the best of them. If I had had any school spirit at all I would have joined the debate team, but that never happened! Razz. I love debating with people!

Do you have a bad temper?

oh yes. Very bad and very short fuse. Been so very close to beating people up till I realize...I would get turned into a bloody pulp by them. See it is always the people who have more muscle that pick at me.

What causes you to lose you temper, mostly?

I didn't think you would have a bad temper Jimmy. Interesting. You might surprise yourself if you fought someone though. Once the adrenaline kicks in, you could be much stronger than you realize.

I have always had a bad temper and been very moody. I was such a joy for my parents to raise! Rolling Eyes Razz. I lose my temper very easily when people are being ignorant. I have no tolerance for ignorance! When people argue with me and they don't know what they are talking about, I will lose it. And I don't give up and I don't back down. I always win. I can be a difficult person at times.

Oops, I got caught up in that question and forgot to ask a new one. Do you fight authority, and does authority always win? Razz (high five for anyone who knows where that's from)

Haha, I'll give you a high five anyway because I like your answer, even though you didn't KNOW the quote.

What's the new question, Poet Jonah?

I made that avatar for her.

Her name is Shannon, which is an Irish name! Also, it just happens to be one of her favorite TGA songs. Also, she loves muscle cars.

I'm pretty much an ever vigilant watcher of the forum. Which is a nicer way of saying I have no life and I spend all my time here.

Haha, an academy? What kind of academy do you want to join?

An academy for people who have no life of course! the Academy For People Who Have No Life. I'd like to major in The Fundamentals of Laziness or if its offered, Procrastination 101; a class that has TONS of homework that never gets assigned. What's it like being 21? :p

Being 21 is kinda like being able to buy alcohol.

Furthermore, there is only one academy here. The Academy of Spam. Join the spam thread and chat away.

Haha, now that's a college I would have loved to attend! As a teacher (I'm a teacher who hated going to school), I would like to volunteer to lead the lecture of Procrastination 101. But not tonight. I'm too tired. Maybe we'll have class tomorrow if John (Harbortown) hires me. Maybe. I might be too busy...or too lazy.

Do we have a question for the question thread?

That's awesome! I'm a poet too. And a novelist. I'm not published yet, but I'm working on it!

I am a homeschool teacher/nanny for two girls, ages 5 and 7. Technically they are in kindergarten and second grade, but their schoolwork is 1-2 grades above that. I have been with their family for about six years, and before that I taught preschool, specializing in young toddler education.

I love the description of your location! Hilarious! Laughing

Ah, there's a website with like 800 something publishers that take online submissions. http://andromeda.rutgers.edu/~lcrew/pbonline.html
My mom teaches 4th grade
also my sig is part of one of my poems I'm working on for a manuscript.
I was published a few years ago but it was nothing, the publisher has since bankrupt due to economy stuff :p

lol good catch Smile I put A LOT of references of brian and bruce and some old blues in my poems.
not coping just taking images to pay homage to those that inspire me.
it's a reference in that her saying "I believe in you romeo" in my poem she's saying that to him burning
in that, "I believe in you but you're dying and I am doing nothing to save you" it's about love.

Thanks, Jonah, I'll have to check that out! And don't say that getting published was nothing, it's a huge accomplishment even if you didn't become a billionaire off of your work. Was it poetry that you had published? I really like the lines you put in your signature. Like Andrew said, they also reminded me of She Loves You, which is very, very cool.Cool
