Shopping district for my town

I love the old buildings in my town

I took neither of these photos. Sort of Like an Asbury Park on a river, instead of a beach

Oskarshamn, south east coast of Sweden
17.000 inhabitants
Trivia: The town got its name in the 19th century from the king of the time, whose name was Oscar. It means Oscar's harbor. Before that it was named Döderhultsvik, which roughly translated means death grove bay!

Good idea turning this into a separate thread, Sarah! I'll post some pictures on my computer in a little bit since my iPad won't let me post anything other than links.

Very pretty, Plugga! I have to say, I am kind of jealous that all of you guys get to live in these amazing places. I am really enjoying the photos though! I will have to post some of where I used to live in CA, my original home, as well as Virginia, where I currently live.

Mayville, Wi!
Downtown in the old days

Modern days

The other side of mainstreet, if you look closely you can see the gas station where I work in the background

Post office

White Limestone School Museum. It's rumored to be haunted

View of the city from the steps leading to the dam

The Rock River

Leaving town

This is what it looks like when I leave work. Dead.

And a few years ago, we had a crop circle controversy.

Wish I had some better pics, but you get the idea!

fun fact: my city was known in the past as the town of beautiful women because it was mostly a town of fishermen who left their wives alone for long periods of time. COOL STORY BRO.

That's what you think, but I haven't told you about my disguise yet. A veil to cover my true self, so malicious and cunning it would leave even the most villainous gangsters dumbfounded and scared. So shockingly ingenious it will be remembered in history as the single greatest revolution known to man.

I call it.....
