It looks like it! Like something out of a Norman Rockwell picture. My aunt and uncle used to live there too, but they moved to Virginia a couple of years ago. Not a good trade, in my opinion!

I went on a vacation to Virginia when I was in 3rd grade! It was really pretty flying over the mountains! I also went to Thomas Jefferson's house, and to this amazing waterfall. It was a fun vacation, but our hotel was in a really, really bad area. It was scary.

Yes, the mountains are beautiful, it's a really pretty state for the most part, but the South and I don't really go together. It's too conservative and stuck in the past for me. What city was your hotel in? Was it Richmond? Richmond is an ugly city.

I noticed that while I was visiting! We ran into some, let's just say, interesting people. Yeah, I think it was in Richmond, if I'm remembering correctly!

YES! I guessed correctly! Interesting is a good word to use, Sarah! There are a lot of hillbillies, a lot of racist people, and - are you ready for this? 25% of Virginians are too illiterate to fill out a job application. Pathetic! I am SO glad I was raised in CA! Just to be fair though, there are also a lot of nice people here, it's just sometimes hard to see the good through the bad for a pessimistic person like me.

hahha, I get that! I'm way too pessimistic. I have to remind myself that there are good things and not just bad. Yeah, we met a lot of nice people there, but a lot of very rude ones, too!

Still I like to complain about how I haven't eat in five hours and how I ate a baked potato.
