Let's Go! is one of my top 5 records of all time. It literally changed my life . . . a true masterpiece.
Everything since Let's Go! has been somewhat of a letdown though. Some good songs here and there but none of their records post-1995 is consistently great from start to finish in my opinion (Indestructible and Life Won't Wait are almost unlistenable to me).
Lars was a fantastic addition to their sound on Let's Go! but his vocals have come to be way too over-embellished and almost laughable (i.e., all twangy and British). The addition of Lars also took a lot of vocals away from Matt, which I think is a shame.
Tim's solo record "A Poet's Life" is also brilliant.
I will never forget my first Rancid show (on the Let's Go tour in 1995). They played the Limelight in NYC with H20 and the Lunachicks. I've never seen a more insanely violent crowd. I didn't think my 15-year-old self was going to make it out alive but I did and it was awesome.
