Yeah, Frank's the man alright.

You should also know: 'he sings for his supper and he's pretty well fed'

On a digital camera? You can get that back easy!

Just seen this guy live for a second time, with Crazy Arm and Chuck Ragan supporting. Missed most of Crazy Arm, but Ragan was really good - although he didn't play For Broken Ears! Sad

Frank Turner was brilliant, my friends got to meet him after the show too, but I had to run for the train so missed him

Ha I was there too, loved Crazy Arm , Chuck rocked but I wasn't totally enamoured with Frank, just can't get into his new stuff. I'd have been happy if I'd have gone home after Chuck Ragan cos' it still would have been a great gig. deffo wouldn't see him again.

Was frank band or solo?

I'm not sure why but as I've said before, I just don't dig him when he's with band, seen one solo and one band and left before the encore with his band performance (mainly due to the heat in the room more than anything, but still didn't enjoy the gig that much).

Hope he tours the UK again doing solo shows.

Frank was with the band. He still performed a few solo songs though.

The sound was actually worse than the Wolverhampton gig he played last year, which was surprising considering the 02 is more of a 'big-time' venue than the Wulfrun.

Frank did an interview with Radio Aire and played a couple songs. Found the session online and tracked out the mp3s. Frank called Rock And Roll Romance a new song but it was played last fall and is also a b-side on the Poetry of the Deed single.

01 - Interview
02 - Isabel
03 - Rock And Roll Romance
04 - Motel Blues (Loudon Wainwright III Cover)

I bought his DVD the other day and it's great. Stuffed with amazing stuff! Two shows, all his music videos, him interviewing the band and some tour diaries, plus a CD I haven't checked out yet.

Buy it, it's ace

He is already playing 18 song sets in the USA. That is amazing. I need to see a headlining show.

Hey, you know what would be awesome? If you could do a split 7" with Frank Turner. Yeah, that'd be sick! Well, here's your chance! You can submit demos to Frank, he'll listen to them, and he'll pick two and put them on the 7" for his song "Try This At Home" (get it?)!!!

Here's the link: http://frank-turner.com/blog/try-this-at-home/
