| The Wrestler is fantastic! I saw it a couple of weeks back (illegally, again - I am a bad, bad man). Gonna go see it in the cinema on Wednesday though with my brother cause he wants to check it out. |

| Felon was better than I thought it would be.
Havent seen much recently but Gran Torino was good. Eastwood is an even better director than actor. |

| Anyone here see the new Star Trek movie? I finally got to see it tonight and it definitely lived up to the hype. |

| Saw: Crank 2 - The dumbest movie I've seen this year, hated it so much. Wolverine X-Men Origins - Meh Terminator - Thought it was ok, but not great. The star is Sam Worthington. Night at the Museum 2 - Meh Star Trek - Lived up to the hype, really fun movie, and I'm not a Star Trek fan. Pixar's Up - Great movie, out of all their movies I think UP and Wall-E are the best. Wanna see Drag Me To Hell |

| Saw 'The Hangover,' the funniest movie I've seen but also probably one of the most inappropriate...at times I was ashamed I was laughing...but then again I laughed til my sides hurt. |

| The last movie I saw was "UP". Not only is it a children's movie, but... I also saw it w/ my grandparents. We don't normally hang out on the weekends, they were just visiting from San Diego and we found an outdoor theater about a 1/2 hr south of Austin that was playing it, easy entertainment, plus it was only $5 a person. Before that, the last movie I saw was "Taken", which was ridiculously cool. Not normally a huge action flick kinda guy, but, if you haven't seen it, Liam Neeson pretty much kills everybody and it's totally awesome. |

| ive seen a couple good movies lately...
"The Hangover," which I would not have gone to voluntarily, I thought it looked stupid. My brother and sister wanted to take my dad to see it on Father's Day, and it was actually way funnier than I thought it would be. It was a guy-humor kinda movie, like I expected, but I didn't think it was that raunchy.
"Gran Torino"- Caught the last half of this. Really good. I was not expecting the ending.
"Public Enemies"- I really liked this one. Now I admit, I am biased, because as far as I'm concerned, anything Johnny Depp is in will be pretty damn good. However, I read a review of the movie after seeing it that gave it a "B" because they didn't feel it explored Dillinger enough, like his personality, why he was the way he was, I guess they thought the movie was too much style over substance. I could see their point, but I thought it was better than they said.
And thus concludes Stephanie's movie review... |

| I saw a really crappy movie recently! Transformers 2. Ugh.... so many things wrong with that movie.
On the other hand, both UP and Star Trek were extremely good, so it works out I guess.
Has anyone seen the film 'Once' by any chance? Figured this being a music forum and having so many UK'ers around, I might get a few hits. |

| I watched There Will Be Blood today...stupid movie, it was rated "R" and the only reason for that was "Some Violence" which made no sense because...look at the title, there was maybe 2 or 3 fight scenes in the movie, nothing graphic at all and the language wasn't even bad, I don't understand why it was rated "R" but oh well. Even after all of that, the movie was slow, it went absolutely nowhere, and it was nominated for an Academy Award..that may be why I thought it sucked all in all I give it a 4/10 |

Ain't it great? Still can't believe it's rated R. Movies with torture, violence, and sex can get a PG-13 rating, but just drop some F-bombs and suddenly it's dangerous. |

| I've seen Once but Glen Hansard's a prick (IMO) so I didn't enjoy it all that much.
Transformers and Year One suck too. |

And Tom Cruise is crazy, but I still love Mission Impossible and Rain Man! But yes, blech to Transformers. And was Year One that bad? The trailer seemed kind of funny, but the reviews pretty much all said it was awful. |

ha. yep...says a lot about america right there. we find violence more appropriate than a naked body or a word. |
