| Am I the only one who though, "Woah Katy, bring it on!" Bring it on jokes will still be funny, especially since Katy is peppy like a cheerleader. |

I was there. They left out quite a bit of the interview on the video. It was probably about 20 min long. They said something about returning to Australia soon.
Other things of note left out on the video: -Brian addressed living in NY and said he'd probably be moving back to Jersey -Brian talked about the "anti-nostalgia" of "Old Haunts" (via audience question) and said that it was because his mom told him he was always living in the past or the future...said the song wasn't anti-59 Sound nostalgia or anything like that. -Also on people they had met they mentioned The National and The Hold Steady
Did my best to paraphrase what I remember... |

| As for Alex saying he botched those two songs, I've always said they were an honest band. And simo, did you take any pics? _________________ Alexander www.gaslightanthem.org

Brian mentions hanging out with Lily Allen. Her godfather is Joe Strummer. |

| i know he's her godfather, i just wasn't sure who you meant by 'he' as in brian, alex or the interviewer.
i'd feel confident is saying that he'd know that. |
