I got my green on in today! You think that I'd get the No Idea preorder first considering it's coming from Florida and not the UK. haha

Damn Ebay flippers! One guy on ebay had several vinyl copies of American Slang listed from $75-$125. I sent him an offer of $50 and he replied back, "don't try to screw me over, that is way too low". I replied back to him, "who is the one screwing people over? You paid $12 for those records and now you are flipping them for 10 times as much. You make me sick!"

I haven't heard back.

Anyway, does anyone have an extra colored vinyl they would sell me for cost plus $20? I was flat broke when the pre-orders were announced, and I really want to get one for a decent price.

I have a copy of the green europress.

The problem is that I live in america and it cost a lot to ship it and convert currency. So I think when It was all said and done I spent 36. I'll give it to you for 35 shipped if you want it. If not thats cool.

That's a lot of money, but I'd rather give it to someone on the forum.

This is starting to really piss me off. I get notification of a USPS tracking number a week ago, so I figure they'll mail it in a day or two. 7 days later, still no tracking info whatsoever (not even receipt by USPS), and no sign of my record. Vinyl Collective's taking forever :[
I know these tracking things are often slow to update, but if they at least shipped it off w/in the past week, you'd think something would show up online.

Not to step on the toes of "jhu", but I will gladly purchase the green vinyl for $35, if "jhu" does not take it. Please consider me, as I have been trying to get a colored version of AS, but I am unable to pay the CRAZY $100 on ebay and I was too late in purchasing the preorder. What do you say?

But when it does, I'll let you know if something else is in it.

They probably just used the extra jacket as packing material instead of cardboard. It's already the right size and probably going to be thrown out anyways.

Yeah my VC order came today and had an empty Poison the Well vinyl cover with it too. Not sure of the reason apart from it gets people talking about them.

Decided I had to have the green, so I ordered it from Banquet Records on Monday afternoon. It showed up today in Michigan. Pretty impressive turnaround. They also included a button/pin with the design from the SideOne tshirt and a LP sized advertisement for the album. Thumbs up to Banquet.

I've now got hold of the SOD grey vinyl; does anyone else's have a few red streaks in it like mine does?

I didn't notice any red in mine but I wouldn't be too surprised by it. Splatter/swirl pressings often have some unintended extra colors. I think someone on VC mentioned having red in their copy of either the VC or No Idea press.

and does that make it worth more and does it devalue it?

I wouldn't think it'd have any affect on the value.

I just got the last of the four variants. I am stoked, only the No idea and S1D are opened the Euro and VC are sealed. I bought the No idea on ebay after No Idea emailed me saying my order did not go through, and I opened the S1D just to see how the gray looks like.

Just curious (and if you don't mind me asking) how much did you get SOS black for?
