New song called Eulogy up at the last.fm and myspace pages. It's a sad one. Very pleased with my vocals on it. Give it a listen if you can.

I really like what I'm hearing! Is there a way to download each album incl. artwork in one go, rather than track by track?

Thanks! I'm trying to figure out the best way to share my music for free while still being able to keep track of it in some way. For this reason I'm trying to avoid just putting the albums w/ art in a zip file and putting it on mediafire/rapidshare/megaupload. I want to be as listener-friendly as possible, but just uploading my stuff to a third party web site where I can't keep track of it isn't something I want to do at the moment. I think the last.fm downloads are fairly fast. If you need artwork I can PM the covers to you.

I really do appreciate you giving my music your time, but you can understand why I'm hesitant to just throw everything on rapidshare and let people download it without me being able to keep some control over it. I hope this made sense.

If you do want to put it on a third party site I suggest here http://bandcamp.com/ I haven't heard anything bad about it from bands and as a listener it's great.

No, I didn't mean third party site like that. I probably used the wrong term. I don't know what you call them, but I would prefer if my music wasn't on rapidshare/megaupload/mediafire and instead was listened to and downloaded from myspace and/or last.fm. I'm all for sharing my music free of charge, but I'd like to be able to maintain some sort of control over it.

Of course this is allowed! I am psyched to hear what you've got!

Bandcamp is a really nice site from what I've seen. You can also set up optional donations on there.

One for One is now complete. I decided to leave it as a 3-song EP rather than a sprawling collection of singles. It's going to serve as a transitionary piece (my Senor and the Queen, perhaps?) from The New American Sessions to my next project, a concept record set to be titled Jersey Casanova. The stories and characters have been in my head for quite a long time (I've been writing screenplays for a while) and it was originally going to be made into a student film. I'm very stoked to get started on this.

This all may seem crazy to some of you, but I'm just a tireless worker who doesn't really see the need to take time off. Especially since it's very hard to play gigs consistently while in school, while writing and recording only requires a guitar and my laptop.

I've got the first single from Jersey Casanova now on myspace and last.fm! It's called Youthful Dreams. It's the leadoff track and definitely a good way to introduce the new sound. Give it a listen.

That song is really, really good. Honestly, the full band really takes your stuff to a new level.

I put the B-side up from the Youthful Dreams single, For No One In Particular. I think it's definitely the best thing I've written, or very close to it. Very proud of this one. Give a listen if you can.

The record is essentially finished at this point. There are 8 songs on it. I still need to add vocals to some songs and add little overdubs here and there, but Jersey Casanova will be coming at you one week from today, March the 9th. I'm incredibly excited to put it out there so people can hear it.

Thanks, man. I think you'll really dig the record. It came out tremendously. I think it rewards repeat listens, as the whole thing together tells a story. Can't wait to get it out there.

I'm loving how you can put so much stuff out and have it all still be good.

Jersey Casanova and Outlaw Songs are both fantastic even though they're so different.

Well I liked the acoustic a lot better. But I have a feeling if you had a real band it would be really good. I just thought the instruments didn't sound real enough.

Fair enough, man. Those songs were certainly an experiment, kind of a diversion more than a change in direction. I'm definitely back to the acoustic thing, so hopefully you'll dig that. Cheers for listening, man.

Yeah, there's already an album's worth of material up on last.fm (Outlaw Songs, the cover of which is in my avatar). I was sort of writing it alongside Jersey Casanova, since they were written in such different ways (Jersey Casanova on GarageBand and Outlaw Songs on my old acoustic guitar). I will be temporarily halting my prolific ways, as I want to sort of take a break from releasing new stuff, collect a bunch of solid tunes, and let people familiarize themselves with the songs I've already released as I start playing live (first headlining show was this past Saturday).

I'll have another album up on May 4th called Lost At Sea. For those of you who have been listening to everything tirelessly, I thank you very much. I appreciate you giving my music your time and I'm working very hard to make this next one the best I've done. I also should have much cooler gigs coming up, which is awesome.

I started a youtube channel and uploaded four videos (two covers, two originals). One of the covers is The '59 Sound, in case you're interested in that.

By the way, I just put up a nine-song release on last.fm called Sketches For Scarlet. I can almost guarantee the quality has not slipped so give it a listen if you want haha.
