| I've been trying for months to understand it but I can't figure out what he yells after the sound of the car starting up. Anyone got a guess?

| i always thought it was something about a pork pie hat and long hair. not that that makes any sense or anything, but that's what i yell in the intro |

| I thought "Long long long blonde hair", which fits in with the song. The other words, in the deeper voice a bit late sounds like "regative", but i have no idea about that one. |

| I always thought it sounded like "you punks come back here!" in the way a guy would tell kids to get off his lawn.
That sounds completely out there, though. |

I thought the same thing, sounds like someone yelling to some kids as well to me. |

| Since the song is about this girl he used to know, could it be something like a memory of him and her sneaking into someone's garden late at night and getting yelled at after being discovered, quickly getting into the car (the Old White Lincoln) and driving off?
